“ I love this place.. first time I came here in 2012. I spent 2-3 hours here. Now, I have a workshop and in my 11th year. The centre is attached to a special needs college. So students can be around from Monday to Friday, especially at break times 11am and 1pm. Also the car park can get very busy around 4pm as the students are going. Saturday is the best day to catch some of the workshops open (some workshops are only open one or two days in a week). I would advise anyone thinking of coming especially in a large group to ring each workshop beforehand to ensure the makers that you really want to see are in. ”
“ Great choice of places to buy (mainly glass related) gifts. Excellent professional glass repair service. Cafe looked clean and tidy, did not on this occasion use it but on past visits it has always been good. Accessible by stair lift from car park for less able , not sure about wheel chair users. ”
“ Popped in here with the family for first time for bite to eat. Wonderful service and the food freshly cooked and delicious. I had the full English and was incredible. Amazing portion and I felt excellent value for money. The staff were brilliant with our little one too. Will definitely be returning and highly recommend. ”
“ I had a full English breakfast here - it was fabulous - only complaint was there was too much food and I was unable to finish it all. I had a great flat white coffee with oat milk (no extra cost for plant milks) I recommend this cafe at any time - lunch menu also looked interesting. ”
“ Brilliant cafe! Great choice for vegetarians and vegans. We had the sweet potato and nut roast baguette which came with salad and roast potatoes. Staff were so friendly too. Would recommend. ”
“ Go!! The food is so good. Can be noisy. Remember it is a college. Please don't let it put you off. Their food is all locally sourced too. ”
“ Really interesting building and the small workshops we're full of some really good products and not too pricey. Not too much choice in the cafe but the green curry and baked potato myself and my friend had were really delicious. Bought some lovely gifts and the artists were really helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere. Will look to learn more about this place. ”
“ Visited as part of the festival of glass and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So interesting friendly staff and great coffee, cake and atmosphere. ”
